Visit by Delegation of the Chinese Civil Aviation Authority
Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure has hosted the Chinese Deputy Minister for Transport Mr. Henglin. On this occasion, Dr. Gašperšič signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the aeronautical authorities of the Republic of Slovenia and the People's Republic of China. During their stay in Slovenia, the delegation of the Chinese Civil Aviation Authority also visited Portorož Airport. More -
Matevž Lenarčič finished his mission to fly around the world at Portorož Airport
Matevž Lenarčič, Slovenian extreme pilot, biologist, photographer, nature conservationist, mountain climber and director of the Aerovizija company, finnished another mission to fly around the world. With landing at Portorož Airport on 22th of April 2016 he finished his journey. Goals of this mission were set very high, since they combine scientific research and environmental activities.
