Easter Regatta
Sailing Club Pirat is hosting it's 25th traditional SailingPoint Easter regatta from March 30th till April 1st. In the past 24 years our Easter Regatta grew into the most important Opti race in this part of Europe and in one of the three biggest and most important Opti events in Europe overall. Every year the number of sailors, aged from 7 to 15 years, increases a bit. Last year we hosted 521 sailors from 14 countries, and 150 sailing clubs, in a three days event. This is one of the reasons that ranking from Easter Regatta counts as a criteria for national team selection in many countries.
But sailing is a fun sport and we want to make sure you won't forget Easter regatta that easy. Every day after the races we organize more fun onshore, with different interesting activities for kids and their parents. No doubts about the most exciting one is the big lottery drawing with many great awards and a real Opti boat as a main prize.
Don't forget to join our training camp a week before the race in Pirat Sailing Club. This is the perfect way to study local weather conditions and practice in the bay where the races will take place.
You can watch the regatta from Bernardin and Portorož, 30.3. - 1.4.2018, from 8:00 till 12:30 and from 14:00 till 18:00 (LT).
